CAIR Encourages Vigilance After Report of Islamophobic Incident During Maryland Lobby Day in Annapolis
BALTIMORE, Maryland, March 4 (TNSres) -- The Council on American-Islamic Relations issued the following news release on March 2, 2024:
The Maryland office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation's largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today is encouraging communities to remain undeterred and vigilant after it received a report of alleged Islamophobic harassment targeting a Muslim woman in Annapolis during the annual Maryland Muslim Lobby Day on Monday.
