National Park Service: 116 Yellowstone Bison Transferred to Fort Peck Tribes
MAMMOTH HOT SPRINGS, Wyoming, Feb. 15 -- The National Park Service Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service issued the following news release on Feb. 14, 2024:
During the week of Feb. 5, the National Park Service (NPS) and the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) moved 116 Yellowstone National Park bison to the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in Poplar, Montana.
