Colo. Gov. Polis Announces Wildfire Mitigation and Forest Health Management Grants for Colorado Communities
DENVER, Colorado, Feb. 16 -- Gov. Jared Polis, D-Colorado, issued the following news release:
Governor Jared Polis and Colorado Department of Natural Resources Executive Director Dan Gibbs were joined by state leaders, legislators, youth corps members, and water providers to announce an additional investment of $6.5 million in grants from Colorado's Strategic Wildfire Action Program (COSWAP) for on-the-ground forest mitigation work and landscape scale watershed projects throughout Colorado.

Colo. House Democrats: Legislation to Increase Penalties for Child Labor Violations Clears Committee
DENVER, Colorado, Feb. 16 -- The Colorado House Democrats issued the following news release:
The House Business Affairs and Labor Committee today passed legislation to ramp up financial penalties for businesses that violate child labor laws.
