Indian Affairs Announces the Addition of Two Tribes to the Tiwahe Program
WASHINGTON, Jan. 12 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Indian Affairs issued the following news release on Jan. 11, 2024: The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Indian Affairs announced today the selection of two new Tribes for the Tiwahe Program Social Services Demonstration Project. The Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe in Minnesota and the Oglala Sioux Tribe in South Dakota will join eight locations that currently have Tiwahe programs.
