HURLBURT FIELD, Florida, Dec. 12 -- The U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command issued the following news:
UPDATE 13, December 11, 2023 0800CST:
The seventh Airman whose remains were recovered Dec. 10th, 2023 following the CV-22 mishap that occurred on Nov. 29th, 2023 off the shore of Yakushima Island, Japan has been identified and next of kin has been notified.
U.S. Air Force Maj. Jeffrey "Jeff" T. Hoernemann, 32, was a native of Andover, Minnesota. Jeff received his commission through th
