NORAD Intercepts Aircraft Violating Restricted Airspace Over Rehoboth Beach, Delaware
TYNDALL AFB, Florida, Nov. 6 -- The North American Aerospace Defense Command issued the following news release:
A U.S. Coast Guard MH-65 helicopter, under the direction of the North American Aerospace Defense Command, responded to a civilian aircraft over Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, on Nov. 4, 2023.
The civilian aircraft violated a Temporary Flight Restriction area at 10:55 a.m. Eastern Time and was escorted until it landed safely at a nearby airport.
