2023-24 CSC Scholarship and Grants Award Winners Announced
GREENWOOD, Indiana, Aug. 3 -- College Sports Communicators issued the following news:
Winners of 2023-24 College Sports Communicators scholarship and grants were announced on August 2.
Awards voted on by the CSC Scholarship Committee include two $6,000 postgraduate scholarships, a $2,000 undergraduate scholarship, a pair of renewable $1,000 scholarship winners among the children of CSC members, and two $15,000 graduate internship grants.

U.S. EPA Removes 'Degradation of Aesthetics' Impairment Designation From Maumee Area of Concern
COLUMBUS, Ohio, Aug. 5 -- The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency issued the following news:
Conditions in the Maumee Area of Concern (AOC), one of the largest AOCs in the eight Great Lakes states, have vastly improved over the last 30 years, bringing the Maumee AOC one step closer to full restoration. These improved conditions are a result of reducing sources of oil, grease, and trash through cleanups of contaminated streams. U.S. EPA will remove the "Degradation of Aesthetics" Beneficial Use
