Sen. Duson Introduces Bill to Support Sexual Assault Response Advocates
AUGUSTA, Maine, March 28 -- The Maine Senate Democrats issued the following news on March 27, 2023:
On Monday, Sen. Jill Duson, D-Portland, introduced a bill to provide additional funding for sexual assault response services in Maine. LD 566, "An Act to Provide Funding for Sexual Assault Services," was the subject of a public hearing before the Legislature's Health and Human Services Committee.
