Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum and Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes announced they've settled a data breach enforcement case against Avalon Healthcare Management. It is part of the Avalon Health Care Group that provides skilled nursing, therapy, senior living/assisted living and other medical services in six states, including Oregon and Utah.

Oregon Attorney General Rosenblum: Oregon Supreme Court Determines Unanimous Jury Requirement Applies to Older Cases
SALEM, Oregon, Dec. 30 -- Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum issued the following news release on Dec. 30, 2022:
This morning the Oregon Supreme Court in Watkins v. Ackley held that the requirement of unanimous jury verdicts in serious criminal cases applies to older criminal cases as well as those still on appeal.
