BLS Issues Report on Employer-Reported Workplace Injuries, Illnesses in New Jersey in 2019
NEW YORK, Jan. 23 -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics - New York-New Jersey Regional Information Office issued the following report on the employer-reported workplace injuries and illnesses in New Jersey in 2019: New Jersey's private industry employers reported 69,000 nonfatal workplace injuries and illnesses in 2019, resulting in an incidence rate of 2.5 cases per 100 full-time equivalent workers, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.
