ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 28 -- CenturyLink Intellectual Property, Denver, has been assigned a patent (9,246,582) developed by two co-inventors for the "use of dying gasp to locate faults in communications networks." The co-inventors are Mike Fargano, Louisville, Colorado, and Michael D. Sprenger, Boulder, Colorado.
