Rep. Collins Issues Statement on Reduced Illegal Border Crossings

WASHINGTON, Aug. 23 -- Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga., a member of the House Judiciary Committee issued the following statement in response to the recent decline in illegal border crossings:
"Sanctuary cities and illegal criminals have been put on notice. From 2016 to 2017, illegal border crossings fell 52% for the period covering February to March. A human smuggler based at our southwest border reports that his business is at an all-time low. He's considering a career change.
