MONTGOMERY, Ala., June 23 -- Gov. Kay Ivey, R-Ala., issued the following news release:
Governor Kay Ivey on Friday sent a letter to United States Department of Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue requesting urgent assistance on behalf of all Alabama agricultural producers.
As a result of significant rainfall, wind and flooding from Tropical Storm Cindy, a large number of Alabama agricultural producers have experienced and will continue to experience significant losse . . .
