WASHINGTON, March 24 -- The National Women's Law Center issued the following news release:
Today, the American Health Care Act (AHCA), the budget reconciliation proposal to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA) was withdrawn.
The ACA repeal bill contained provisions that would have deeply harmed women's health and economic security, including: taking maternity coverage away; blocking people from getting preventive health care, such as birth control, cancer screenings . . .
