WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind., March 22 -- Purdue University issued the following news release:

The National Science Foundation has awarded Purdue University professor Levon Esters and his research team a $1.1 million, two-year grant to help underrepresented students learn about science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
