WASHINGTON, May 8 -- The American Petroleum Institute issued the following news release:

The American Petroleum Institute (API) is pleased to announce it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Brazilian Petroleum and Gas Institute (Instituto Brasileiro de Petroleo e Gas -- IBP).
