COLUMBIA, South Carolina, April 26 -- The South Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities issued the following news release:

South Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities (SCICU) is pleased to announce that the Milliken & Company Charitable Foundation is again renewing its STEM merit scholarship program for SCICU's five historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs).
