Conservation Groups Sue Forest Service Over Nantahala-Pisgah Forest Plan's Impact on Endangered Wildlife

ASHEVILLE, North Carolina, April 20 -- The Southern Environmental Law Center issued the following news release on April 19, 2024:

This week, a coalition of conservation groups filed a lawsuit (https://southernenvironment.sharefile.com/d-s25d9c8cfa330404ca7db0f985c01e512) over glaring flaws in the Nantahala-Pisgah Forest Plan that put endangered forest bats at risk, following through on a previous 60-day Notice of Intent to Sue letter.
