WASHINGTON, April 19 -- Rep. Andrew Clyde, R-Georgia, issued the following news release on April 17, 2024:

Today, Congressman Andrew Clyde's (GA-09) legislation, H.R. 6046, the Standing Against Houthi Aggression Act, passed the House of Representatives with bipartisan support by a vote of 285-135. The bill redesignates the Iran-backed Houthis as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) and reinstates sanctions on the group.
