WASHINGTON, April 18 -- Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Missouri, issued the following news release:
Today U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) sent a letter to Director of the Federal Bureau of Prisons Colette Peters opposing the pending release of Robert Courtney. Courtney was sentenced to thirty years in federal prison after diluting tens of thousands of prescription medications for his own profit. Courtney is scheduled for transfer to a halfway house in June, before his sentence is completed. < . . .
