INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, April 10 -- The Indiana Senate Republicans issued the following news release:
Fifty Indiana National Guard members deployed to the southern border as part of Operation Lone Star, said State Sen. Andy Zay (R-Huntington).
The troops will be stationed at an entry port in the El Paso region for the next 10 months to help mitigate human and drug trafficking.
