WASHINGTON, April 5 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement issued the following news on April 4, 2024:
The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement today announced changes to the Ten-Day Notice rule that will make it easier for citizens to report mining concerns, safeguarding people and the environment from the adverse effects of coal mining.
