INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, Feb. 2 -- The Indiana House Democrats issued the following news:

Today, Feb. 1, State Rep. Pat Boy (D-Michigan City) voted against House Bill 1376. HB 1376 will change when local public questions - including school referenda - appear on an election ballot. Under the bill, a referendum will only be on the ballot during general election years, or in municipal general election years if a school district falls entirely within a municipality.
