WASHINGTON, Nov. 24 -- The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee issued the following testimony by Brad Crabtree, assistant secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management, involving a hearing on Nov. 2, 2023, entitled "Opportunities and Challenges in Deploying CCUS and DAC Technologies on Federal and Non-Federal Lands." CCUS are carbon capture utilization and sequestration while DAC stands for direct air capture.
