WASHINGTON, Nov. 16 -- The U.S. Department of Defense issued the following news release:
The Department of Defense (DoD) fiscal year 2023 audit of the Department's consolidated financial statements resulted in a disclaimer of opinion. Of the 29 Components undergoing standalone financial statement audits, seven received an unmodified audit opinion, and one received a qualified opinion.
