WASHINGTON, Nov. 16 -- The U.S. Public Interest Research Group issued the following statement by tax and budget advocate Michelle Surka:
"The U.S. House of Representatives passed the "Tax Cuts and Jobs Act" (H.R. 1) today, which would add $1.5 trillion to the national debt.
