BOONE, N.C., March 9 -- Appalachian State University issued the following news release:
Ten Appalachian State University undergraduates will begin a journey May 10 to explore the ancient path of waterways from the slopes of Grandfather Mountain to the Atlantic Ocean near Georgetown, S.C.
The journey, an academic course titled "Source to Sea: an exploration of one waterway," begins as a hike along the headwaters of Wilson's Creek along Watauga and Caldwell . . .
