DURANGO, Colo., Aug. 31 -- The Colorado Department of Transportation issued the following news release:
Starting tomorrow, September 1, and lasting through mid-October, the Colorado Department of Transportation and contractor Alert Traffic Control of Bayfield will make improvements to mitigate future scouring of the US 160 bridge at Santa Rita.
The work, which will cost approximately $290,000 total, consists primarily of placing "rip-rap," or rock material, aroun . . .
