NOAA: 2009 Global Temperatures Well Above Average; Slightly Above-Average for U.S.

WASHINGTON, Dec. 8 -- The U.S. Department of Commerce's National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration issued the following news release:

U.S. precipitation above normal for 2009
