WASHINGTON, Sept. 23 -- Rep. Ron Klein, D-Fla. (22nd CD), has issued the following news release:
Congressman Ron Klein (FL-22) today joined a bipartisan majority of the U.S. House in support of an emergency extension of unemployment benefits for out-of-work individuals in the states hit hardest by the recession, including Florida. The legislation, the Unemployment Compensation Extension Act of 2009, (H.R. 3548) provides up to 13 weeks of additional unemployment benefits in states . . .
