WASHINGTON, Sept. 23 -- Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass. (4th CD), issued the following news release:
Congressman Barney Frank today praised the decision by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to award grant money to the New Bedford Housing Authority to help make two of its facilities more energy efficient.
The award specifically designates $1,501,037 for Bay Village, and $986,406 for the Westlawn Housing Complex in New Bedford.
