WASHINGTON, Sept. 23 -- The National Republican Senatorial Committee issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Senator Kent Conrad (D-ND) stood in the way of increased government accountability and transparency during the health care debate when he joined his Democrat colleagues in rejecting a Republican amendment in the Senate Finance Committee.
Sponsored by U.S. Senator Jim Bunning (R-KY), the amendment would have required that Americans have at least 72 hour . . .
