TOPEKA, Kan., Sept. 14 -- Westar Energy issued the following news release:
Westar Energy's Green Team will help erect a Skystream 1.8 kilowatt wind turbine at Pretty Prairie High School, 204 E. Main, Pretty Prairie, on Tuesday, Sept. 15, starting around 10 a.m. Pretty Prairie is about 20 miles south of Hutchinson in Reno County.
The wind turbine at Pretty Prairie High School is part of the Kansas Wind for Schools program. Rural Kansas schools are selected to receive . . .
