MACON, Ga., Sept. 9 -- Macon State College issued the following news release:
Macon State is among the 25 University System of Georgia schools to receive funding under the State Facilities Retrofit Program to pay for 71 energy-conservation measures totaling $27.3 million at 25 colleges and universities across the state. The Georgia Environmental Facilities Authority (GEFA) is providing the funding through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
