Levin Statement on Senate Vote on F-22

WASHINGTON, July 21 -- The office of Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., issued the following news release:

Senator Carl Levin, D-Mich., Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, issued the following statement on today's Senate vote (58-40) to adopt the Levin-McCain amendment to strike $1.75 billion for the F-22 from the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2010.
