CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 9 -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools issued the following news release:
The Laird Lewis Invitational Debate Tournament will be held Jan. 9 and Jan. 10 at Myers Park High, 2400 Colony Road. The debate will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 9 in the school's auditorium; the events for both days are open to the public.
More than 600 students from California, Florida, Iowa, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carol . . .
