TEMPE, Ariz., July 29 -- The city of Tempe issued the following news release:
The city of Tempe received final test results that confirmed the Cryptosporidium found in the water sample collected from Splash Playground at Tempe Beach Park is not viable, indicating the current sanitation efforts are effective. Cryptosporidium must be able to replicate in order to cause humans to become ill.
Splash Playground at Tempe Beach Park is scheduled to re-open Friday, August 1 . . .
