WASHINGTON, Nov. 19 -- The office of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., issued the following news release:
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton today welcomed an announcement by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that they are awarding $181,996 in funding for Western New York under the Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG) program. The purpose of the FY 2008 AFG is to award grants directly to fire departments and nonaffiliated emergency medical service (EMS) organization . . .
