LOVELAND, Colo., Oct. 20 -- The city of Loveland issued the following news release:
Mary Lee Bendolph, Gee's Bend Quilts and Beyond opens at the Loveland Museum/Gallery at 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 14, 2008. The show runs through February 8, 2009. The Opening Reception on November 14 will take place between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m.
This exhibition celebrates the resonance of the strikingly innovative, abstract quilts by a group of African American women from Gee's Bend . . .
