PORTLAND, Maine, Oct. 31 -- The city of Portland issued the following news release:
What: Tomorrow, the City of Portland's Fire Department will hold its 15th Annual Merit Award Ceremony honoring local firefighters for their service to the city. Deputy Chief Theodore Goldfarb of the City of New York Fire Department will provide the keynote speech at the event. Goldfarb served at Deputy Fire Chief for fifteen years retiring in 2005 and now lectures on a variety of firefighting issue . . .
