WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind., Oct. 31 -- Purdue University issued the following news release:
* Appointments and promotions:
- Jacqueline Knotts has been hired as a research associate in the office of advancement, effective Oct. 27. Knotts, a Purdue graduate, previously worked as a research analyst for Kiwanis International.
- John Norberg, former speechwriter for the office of the president, has taken a new position writing a book about the post-Beering year . . .
