PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla., Aug. 29 -- The city of Port St. Lucie issued the following news release:
The city's Public Works Department has a new way to minimize the amount of water used to irrigate city-owned property alongside roadways and public areas. The department uses a computerized water control system that is reducing use of irrigation water by as much as 60 percent.
