MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla., Aug. 29 -- The Miami-Dade County government issued the following news release:

Until today, election results posted on the Miami-Dade Elections Department website were unofficial pending the tabulation of absentee ballots received on Election Day. Today at 2 p.m., not only will the final, official results for all races and questions be released on the website, but the election will be certified and sent to the Florida State Division of Elections.
