ST. PETERSBURG, Fla, Aug. 23 -- Progress Energy issued the following news release:
Progress Energy Florida made significant headway in restoring power overnight in Central Florida and remains ready to respond to outages from Tropical Storm Fay as it affects customers in coastal and northern regions of the state.
