RALEIGH, N.C., Aug. 14 -- The North Carolina Republican Party issued the following news release:
Scott Falmlen, spokesman for the mysterious front group now going by the name "Alliance for North Carolina," is a previous Executive Director of the Florida Democrat Party and North Carolina Democrat Party.
"[A] Republican-led Senate ethics committee is in the middle of hearings into allegations that the 1994 re-election campaign of Democratic Gov. Lawton . . .
