ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 6 -- The University of Central Florida, a component of the Florida state university system, issued the following news release:
The University of Central Florida College of Medicine has completed a key step toward obtaining accreditation. From Dec. 2-4, the college hosted a site visit team that will report to the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME), the national body responsible for accrediting medical schools.
