PALATKA, Fla., Aug. 1 -- St. Johns River Community College issued the following news release:
The St. Johns River Community College Foundation recently awarded a scholarship in honor of the late Putnam County businessman Roger Mathews. The Roger W. Mathews Sr. Ethics in Business Scholarship was awarded to Palatka resident and SJRCC freshman Amanda Rafuse. The scholarship will help Rafuse complete her associate in arts degree and transfer to the University of North Florida.
