ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 30 -- The University of Central Florida, a component of the Florida state university system, issued the following news release:
The university learned late Wednesday evening that a student has been diagnosed with bacterial meningitis. The student, Christopher Taylor, was admitted to the hospital with symptoms on Monday, Jan. 28, and a test identified the bacteria Wednesday.
Orange County Department of Health officials believe this to be unrelated . . .
