ORLANDO, Fla., July 24 -- The University of Central Florida, a component of the Florida state university system, issued the following news release:
The University of Central Florida will establish a College of Graduate Studies to bring the structure of graduate education at UCF more in line with many other large research universities. Most universities that award at least 200 doctoral degrees per year have graduate colleges. UCF awarded 207 doctoral degrees in 2007-08.
