MIAMI, Aug. 19 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Coast Guard, 7th District, issued the following press release pertaining to South Florida:
Based on preliminary survey reports and in consultation with the bar pilots, the Port of Miami, Port Everglades, Port of Key West and the Miami River are open to commercial and recreational vessel traffic. The Ports of West Palm Beach and Fort Pierce remain closed.
